The Noctua NH-D14 has received more than 350 awards and recommendations from internationally leading websites and specialized magazines, making it one of the most successful heatsinks. Thanks to its more separated layout and its double NF-A15 fan, the NH-D15 improves the highly acclaimed silent cooling performance of the D14.

Set of wider fins and more separate arrangement of heatpipes
Compared to the NH-D14, the set of fins of the NH-D15 has gone from having 140 mm to 150 mm and its heatpipes are now more separated, allowing a distribution of the more uniform heat over a larger surface area and, therefore, contributes to greater efficiency of NH-D15.

High RAM compatibility in single-fan models
Thanks to its lower fins, the NH-D15 provides a 64 mm gap for larger memory heatsinks in single-fan models, which makes it compatible with most of RAM modules on the market. In dual fan models, the NH-D15 should be used with RAM modules that have a standard measurement (up to 32 mm).

Double fan 140 mm NF-A15
The NH-D15 has two high quality 140 mm NF-A15 fans. By complying with the AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) standards of Noctua and thanks to the sophisticated aerodynamic design that measures the Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A15 has built a reputation as one of the best 140 mm fans on the market.

PWM Support and Noise Reduction Adapter
The NF-A15 fans of the NH-D15 include PWM support for convenient automatic speed control through the motherboard. In addition, the maximum fan speed can be reduced from 1500 to 1200 rpm, so that quieter operation can be obtained by using the Adapter for noise reduction.

Excellent component cooling
Located at the bottom of the fin assembly, the large NF-A15 fans not only contribute to increasing the great cooling capabilities of the NH-D15 CPU, but also provide considerable airflow to the components surrounding the motherboard and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent cooling performance of the components

SecuFirm2 ™

Compatibility with old and new sockets
By complying with SecuFirm2 ™ standards, the NH-D15 is compatible with older LGA1366 and LGA775 sockets, using the optional NM-I3 mounting kit that Noctua offers free of charge. If technically possible, Noctua will also provide the update kits for the new sockets.
