Focused Flow ™ Frame
Designed for applications that require a lot of pressure, such as heatsinks and radiators, the Focused Flow ™ frame consists of eleven blades that straighten, channel and direct the air flow, allowing the NF-F12 to compete with the performance of conventional fans that operate at speeds much higher.
Variable angular distance and Vortex Control Notches
The NF-F12 blades are arranged in variable angular distance and have Vortex-Control Notches (vortex control notches). Both measures contribute to distributing the sound emission over a wider frequency spectrum and, consequently, the sound pattern of the fan is more pleasing to the human ear.

Step by step input design
The Noctua step-by-step entry design adds turbulence to the air inlet to facilitate the transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow, which reduces tonal input noise, improves flow attachment and increases suction capacity, especially in environments with restricted space.
Internal surface microstructures
With the ends of the fan blades colliding with the boundary layer created by the internal surface microstructures, the separation of the flow from the suction side of the blades decreases significantly, resulting in a passing noise between the blades Less, better air flow and higher pressure efficiency.
Integrated anti-vibration pads

PWM IC custom design with SCD
By providing fully automatic PWM speed control, the NF-F12 uses the new custom design NE-FD1 PWM IC that integrates SCD (Smooth Commutation Drive) technology. By providing more fluid torsion pulses, SCD suppresses switching noises and, therefore, makes the fan quieter at low speeds.
Ultra-low energy consumption
The NF-F12 only consumes 0.6 W, less than 50% of what other fans in the same speed range consume. This not only makes it greener, but also reduces the electricity bill: Compared to a typical 2 W fan, it saves approximately half the price of the NF-F12 after 5 years of continuous use.
Noise Reduction Adapter
The NF-F12 is equipped with a noise reduction adapter (LNA) that reduces the maximum fan speed from 1500 to 1200 rpm. The LNA can be used well for the fan to operate at a fixed speed of 1200 rpm or to limit the maximum speed when automatic PWM control is used.
Extensive wiring options
The 20 cm main short fan cable minimizes cable buildup in typical applications, while the included 30 cm extension cable provides greater reach when necessary. Both cables are fully meshed and a 4-pin Y-shaped cable allows a second fan to be connected to the same PWM fan connector for automatic control.
