Equipped with advanced aerodynamic design measures, such as Flow Acceleration Channels and the Noctua AAO frame, the NF-A6x25 is a silent fan, top quality and highly optimized with a size of 60 x 25 mm. The PWM version uses the NE-FD1 IC specially designed by Noctua for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan connectors and is equipped with a Noise Reduction Adapter that reduces the maximum speed from 3000 to 2300 rpm during control PWM The superb smoothness in its operation, the SSO2 bearing and the renowned Noctua quality make it a first-order option for the highest demands.
Stream Acceleration Channels
The NF-A6x25 impeller has flow acceleration channels on the suction side. By accelerating the flow of air in the outer part of the most important blades, the separation of the flow in the suction side is reduced and, therefore, better efficiency and lower vortex noise are achieved. button
Reduced engine hub size
Thanks to its simplified and compact motor design, the engine hub of the NF-A6x25 is smaller than that of conventional 6 cm fans. This makes a larger blade surface possible and, therefore, contributes to the greater air flow and fan pressure performance.
AAO frame
Noctua's AAO (advanced acoustic optimization) frames feature integrated anti-vibration pads, as well as the step-by-step entry design and internal surface microstructures (both owned by Noctua), which further enhance the sound efficiency and performance of the fan. button
Step by step input design
The Noctua step-by-step entry design adds turbulence to the air inlet to facilitate the transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow, which reduces tonal input noise, improves flow attachment and increases suction capacity, especially in environments with restricted space. button
Internal surface microstructures
With the ends of the fan blades colliding with the boundary layer created by the internal surface microstructures, the separation of the flow from the suction side of the blades decreases significantly, resulting in a passing noise between the blades Less, better air flow and higher pressure efficiency. button
Integrated anti-vibration pads
The integrated anti-vibration pads, made of extra soft silicone, minimize the transmission of vibrations per minute, while maintaining compatibility with all standard screws and other mounting systems.
SSO2 bearings
The NF-A6x25 has the second generation, even more optimized, of the renowned SSO bearings from Noctua, with proven efficiency. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the shaft to provide better stabilization, accuracy and durability. button
PWM IC of own design with SCD (Soft Switching Unit)
With full support for automatic PWM speed control, the NF-A6x25 PWM uses the new Noctua-designed NE-FD1 PWM IC that integrates with Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD). By providing smoother torque pulses, the SCD decreases the noise of PWM shifts and makes the fan run quieter at low speeds. button
Low-Noise Adapter (Noise Reduction Adapter)
The NF-A6x25 PWM comes with a Low-Noise Adapter LNA (noise reduction adapter) that reduces the maximum fan speed from 3000 to 2300 rpm. The LNA can be used both to use the fan at a fixed speed of 2300 rpm and to set a maximum speed when using the automatic PWM control.
