Industrial version 2000 rpm PCP

Thanks to its high maximum speed of 2000 rpm, the NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 offers higher performance compared to the 1500 rpm version. The robust polyamide construction, characteristic of the industrial PCP series, and advanced protection features make the fan ideal for the most demanding industrial applications.

Three phase motor design

While most axial fans use single-phase motors with 4 slots, Noctua industrial PC fans feature a three-phase design with 6 slots, which offers a smoother transition between slots and thus allows even smoother operation and silent, a reduction of vibrations and an unprecedented energy efficiency.

Improved energy efficiency

While the standard NF-A14 is one of the most efficient 140 mm and 1500 rpm fans, the industrial version PCP with three-phase motor offers a 10% reduction in energy consumption when compared to the 2000 rpm version.

Fiberglass reinforced polyamide construction

Both the rotor and the Noctua industrial PC fan frame are entirely made of fiberglass reinforced polyamide. This makes the fans even more robust and resistant than standard fiberglass reinforced PBT fans.

Certified IP52 protection against water and dust

Thanks to a special varnish layer that covers the motor and the printed circuit board (PCB), the NF-A14 industrialPPC has an IP52 protection rating. This means that it is not only highly resistant to dust, but also resistant to water droplets, equivalent to 3 mm. of rainfall per minute.

Flow Acceleration Channels

The rotor of the NF-A14 has Flow Acceleration Channels on the suction side. By increasing the speed of the air flow in the crucial outer regions of the blades, this measure reduces the separation of the flow on the suction side, resulting in greater efficiency and lower vortex noise.

Frame with AAO

The frames with AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) from Noctua have integrated anti-vibration pads, in addition to patented Noctua technologies such as Stepped Inlet Design (step entry design) and Inner Surface Microstructures (internal surface microstructures) that improve efficiency of fan noise performance.

Stepped Inlet Design

The Noctua Stepped Inlet Design adds turbulence to the inflow to facilitate the transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow, which reduces the tonal input noise, improves the adhesion of the flow and increases the flow suction capacity, especially in confined space environments.

Inner Surface Microstructures (Internal Surface Microstructures)

With the ends of the fan blades colliding with the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures (internal surface microstructures), the separation of the flow from the suction side of the blades decreases significantly, resulting in a noise of passage between the lower blades, better air flow and greater pressure efficiency.

Integrated anti-vibration pads

The integrated anti-vibration pads, made of extra soft silicone, minimize the transmission of smaller vibrations, while maintaining compatibility with all standard mounting systems and fan clips used in heatsinks.

SSO2 bearings

The NF-A14 industrialPPC has the second generation, even more optimized, of the renowned and effective Noctua SSO bearings. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axle to provide better stability, precision and durability.

Metal bearing

To ensure the highest possible degree of manufacturing precision, minimal tolerance and excellent long-term stability, the NF-A14 industrialPPC boasts a milled CNC bearing made entirely of brass.
